Refugee Fund Terms
Welcome to all refugees in Canada! Whether you just got your refugee status or have been here for a while, you’re eligible to apply for this fund. Just print out the application form below under “Application Form,” fill it out, and send it to Fund@crk.store.
You will then be added to a list of applicants and your priority will be in the same order as which you were approved. Once we have final confirmation of the fund amount, to be determined in the first week of January 2026, we can continue with the application of those who fall within the range of financing.
You, the potential beneficiary, may be requested by email to continue your application for the fund. Unfortunately, some applicants may not receive a request to continue, if the Fund is not large enough. However, if we have requested your continued application, we will require a confirmation by you as soon as possible, and in most cases within a week from the date that the email was sent. We may choose to close the application if we do not hear back.
The next steps will be to set up a phone interview. While one of the goals is to get to know you better, if you do not feel comfortable to respond to certain questions, you have no obligation to do so. We will make clear how monthly payments are made and will request that you submit the information required. If there are any issues with the phone call or we are not able to obtain the information needed for the payments, your application could become closed.
If all goes well, we will be able to approve you for the fund. The final step is another phone call or an online virtual meeting. This is the moment where we can officially offer you the fund, celebrate together, and begin our journey towards your better future.
Considerations
- You are not required to have current refugee status to apply for this Fund however you must have been a Canadian refugee at some point.
- While we will proceed with the applications in January 2026, we cannot promise when you will be approved or if you will be approved. There are also some variables that could make the process take longer.
- Once you have been Approved to Receive the fund, we will begin working on setting up payments right away, however you may not receive payment immediately. Please give a minimum of 1-2 weeks for processing.
- We will always issue the monthly payment on the same date as the initial payment was sent out for a pre-determined amount of time.
- There is no renewal to this Fund.
- Applicants must currently reside in Canada.
- Take note that we may only be able to set up payments with certain banks and you may no longer have access to the fund if you decide to move out of country or change your banking institution.
- A former applicant may request to have any personal information safely removed from our system by emailing Funds@crk.store.
- Our goal is to offer monthly payments for an extended time and as such can give the beneficiary a chance to use the finances toward making a better life.
